New Fiat Panda pricing revealed

New Fiat Panda to start at Ł8,900 Fiat fans will have to part with less than £9,000 to get behind the wheel of the new Panda, the firm has explained.

Released in the UK later this month, the new Fiat Panda will carry an on-the-road price of just £8,900.

The Italian carmaker said that for a five-door hatchback, this represents "outstanding" value for money and sets an industry benchmark that its rivals will struggle to follow.

Even at the top end of the range, which offer drivers a higher spec version with Fiat's 1.3 MultiJet 2 turbo diesel engine, the car available for £12,250.

Not bad for a motor boasting air conditioning, roof rails, Start&Stop technology and alloy wheels as standard.

Elena Bernardelli, marketing director at Fiat Group Automobiles UK, said: "I'm delighted that we remain highly competitive against our key rivals in this small car sector.

"We are particularly good value when you take into consideration the levels of equipment offered in standard specification across the range."
