Bristol Street Motors awarded Motability Website of the Year

Bristol Street Motors has secured the Website of the Year Award from Motability Operations for the second year running.

The motor retailer, which is part of Vertu Motors plc, also received Dealer of the Year for its Vauxhall dealership in Newcastle, as part of the Motability Scheme Dealer Awards.

The series of awards is intended to recognise best practice and ensure customers receive exemplary customer service from partners of the Scheme.

The awards are judged on how a dealer delivers the Scheme to customers, and is assessed by customer feedback and reviews of their Motability Scheme performance.

Tom Cummings, Group Internet and Digital Marketing Manager, received the Best Website of the Year award on behalf of Vertu Motors. He said: “I’m honoured to receive this award on behalf of my colleagues for the second time.

“Over the past year, developing the Bristolstreet.co.uk Motability website was a key priority for us. What we found after consulting all of our Motability specialists across the Group, was that Motability clients had most of the same needs as all car buyers.

“Speaking to customers it became clear that they wanted an end to end service from an online perspective. This meant making sure they could find all the information they needed on the Motability Scheme and find the vehicles that they were looking for. It became apparent that the ability to search by different criteria to ensure the vehicle suited their individual requirements became really important as part of the build for the website.”

Finally, Vertu Motors was given the Dealer of the Year award for the third time in a row.

The team there does an excellent job representing the manufacturer, Bristol Street Motors and Motability Scheme and should be proud of their continued industry-leading performance.”

It is this level of care which has secured numerous awards for Vertu Motors and its dealerships.”

Anyone who receives the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance, the Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment, War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement or Armed Forces Independence Payment can exchange their weekly payment to lease a new car through the Motability Scheme. Insurance, servicing, RAC breakdown assistance and replacement tyres are included in the cost of the lease.
