Jeep reveals direction for new Compass

Following a more than successful sales record for 2012, Jeep has introduced the details surrounding its newest vehicle - the 2014 Jeep Compass.

The manufacturer has revealed that the new model will provide what customers have expected, with increased comfort and performance as well as more high-tech additions.

According to Jeep, the new vehicle will feature a six-speed PowerTech automatic transmission,
which has been refined for application specifically for the new model. The 6F23 transmission is compact, lightweight and fully electronic and will provide a smooth performance to increase the pleasure of the drive.

The exterior has also been changed in order to conform with the more "refined" design of the vehicle as a whole.

Jeep has said that the vehicle has received "specific updates" in order to push the design forward, with the Limited models having an enhanced, plated upper grille trim and mold-in-colour Billet Silver grille texture.

Both the Limited and North models are set to have chrome fog lamp bezels, while the rear of the SUV will see new tail lamps with a new "smoked" inner bezel.

The interior will provide drivers with a tasteful and comfortable environment, with the instrument cluster overlay graphics updated on all levels and a new satin chrome finish.

New Compass models will also have a focus on safety, with the front-seat-mounted side airbags fitted as standard, in addition to ParkView rear backup cameras added to the Limited models. ADNFCR-3205-ID-801632335-ADNFCR
