Mazda reveals new Mazda MX-5 Sport Recaro Limited Edition
Mazda has added the all-new MX-5 Sport Recaro to its acclaimed sports car range.
Using the 160bhp 2.0-Litre Sport Nav as a base, the Sport Recaro retains the performance and handling prowess of the standard car, but is limited to just 600 cars. As a result, the Sports Recaro boasts exclusivity and a number of sporting styling cues.
The Sport Recaro builds on the standard car's handsome styling with a Brilliant Black Sports Aero Kit, that includes front, side and rear skirts, as well as a spoiler housed on its tail. Piano Black door mirrors and 17-inch diamond cut alloys, complete with an engraved MX-5 logo, create a quietly aggressive exterior.
In the cabin, the limited edition model gains an alcantara dashboard panel, alloy pedals and unique floor mats. The sports seats also gain alcantara upholstery, complimented by red piping.
The Sport Recaro bases its specification on the 2.0-litre Sport Nav, with standard equipment including LED headlights, leather steering wheel, climate control, DAB radio, integrated Bluetooth and navigation system, and rain sensing wipers.
Alike to the Sport Nav, the new model boasts sports suspension and a limited slip differential. As the first limited edition variant of the latest MX-5, the Sport Recaro is marked out by an individually numbered badge located on the centre storage box lid.
