New Monte Carlo model to join the Fabia range

Skoda has announced the latest addition to the Fabia family, the all new Fabia Monte Carlo, which boasts a sporty interior and enhanced exterior body styling.

Building on the impressive list of standard equipment that comes with the Fabia SE, the Monte Carlo receives 16-inch Italia black alloy wheels, a black radiator grille and black door mirror caps. Front fog lights, LED daytime running lights, sunset glass and a panoramic glass sunroof are also amongst the many features that give the hot hatch a sporty look.

In the cab of the Monte Carlo, the red and black theme is continued in the bespoke front sports seats, front and rear floor mats with red stitching, black decorative inserts, multi-function sports steering wheel and cherry red centre console. This console features a Bolero infotainment system with 6.5-inch colour touchscreen, DAB radio, Bluetooth and SmartLink, air conditioning, Front Assist emergency braking system, remote locking and alarm.

Engine options in the new Fabia are the same as in other models. Three petrol units of a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder 75PS MPI, a1.2-litre four-cylinder 90PS TSI and a 1.2-litre four-cylinder 110PS are available alongside two diesels: a 1.4-litre three-cylinder unit with 90PS and a 1.4-litre three-cylinder unit with 105PS.

Prices for the new Fabia Monte Carlo start at £14,645 on the road.
