Renault announces upgrades to Clio and Captur ranges

French carmaker Renault has announced a number of free of charge upgrades on its popular Clio and Captur ranges.

The Clio Expression+ trim level has been renamed Clio 'Play' in order to align it with the Twingo range, whilst the Dynamique S Nav gets a new-look leather steering wheel and grey upholstery.

All Clio and Captur models fitted with either the MediaNav or R-Link infotainment systems have received a DAB radio system. This means that all models, excluding the entry level ones, now come with DAB as standard.

Both of the afore mentioned infotainment systems have also been upgraded, with MediaNav gaining Bluetooth streaming, TMC traffic information and SIRI "Eyes-Free" for compatible iPhones. Meanwhile, the R-Link system has received a new, clearer and more sensitive screen, allowing multi-touch gestures.

Renault's Clio is available in five trim levels and with a range of two petrol and one diesel efficient engines, whilst the Captur, which is the best selling compact crossover in Europe in year-to-date is available in four trim levels and with a range of two petrol and two diesel engines.
