Crisp and compact on the outside, spacious and flexible on the inside, with unique two-tone paintwork and SUV-styling, the all-new Crossland X effortlessly combines style and versatility.
The Crossland X joins the best-selling Mokka X in the Compact SUV segment and whereas the Mokka X offers all-wheel-drive capability, is 70mm higher and has larger wheels for buyers with a taste for adventure, the Crossland X has a firm family focus, with a Tardis-like cabin providing high degrees of practicality and flexibility, whilst maintaining a fresh exterior SUV style.
KEY PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS
The Crossland X’s design is all about fluency. From whichever angle you look at it, your eyes are guided around the flowing design in one fluent motion. With its two-tone floating roof and off-road style cladding, the Crossland X is optically cut up into three sections, slicing the height and narrowing the proportions for a more modern, stylish look.
The high-glossed, wide-trapeze shaped grille adds extra width to the Crossland X, while granting a dramatic backdrop for the chrome winglets that embrace the Vauxhall Griffin. The chrome bars follow through to the ‘double-wing’ signature LED DRLs with which they are perfectly aligned, hooking dramatically around the jewel-like headlights. With the wide-and-slim lower grill the perception of extra width is achieved while the silver skid-plate helps emphasize the SUV styling.
The sporty interior has a subtle driver orientation, maximizing spaciousness and comfort, and takes an uncompromising approach to meeting the functional needs of an active lifestyle. Everything is in perfect view and reach, including the steering wheel controls, instrument cluster, and climate controls. Overall visibility is also significantly improved via the raised seating position. Switches and buttons are kept to an absolute minimum to support efficiency and ease of use. The Head up display along with the driver oriented Infotainment system are perfectly placed, neither obstructing nor distracting the driver’s field of vision.
In the rear the 60/40 split seat row can be slid back and forth and features a foldable armrest that allows for problem-free loading of long objects (both features are available as part of the Versatility Pack). The segment-leading 410 litre rear load compartment (expandable to 520 litres, or 1255 litres with the rear seats folded down) combined with the large array of compartments ensures that the spacious Crossland X is ready for any occasion.
Crossland X comes with OnStar fitted to every model as standard. OnStar offers customers a broad range of safety and comfort services. If an airbag deploys, OnStar will be alerted automatically. An advisor will then contact the vehicle to determine whether help is required. If there is no response, emergency responders are immediately sent to the exact location of the vehicle. Drivers and passengers can reach OnStar 24/7 and 365 days a year. No matter whether they need roadside assistance or any other service – an OnStar advisor is always ready to help. OnStar also turns Crossland X into a 4G LTE mobile Wi-Fi hotspot.
FLEXIBILITY AND TECHNOLOGY
With its eye-catching design, innovative technology, great flexibility, high-level comfort and efficiency, the Crossland X exceeds the SUV segment’s high standards. Innovative assistance systems let drivers relax and help them safely reach their destination with new additions such as Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, a Driver Drowsiness System and a Head-up Display. From a driver and passenger comfort perspective the Crossland X offers ergonomically certified AGR seats, a heated steering wheel, a huge panorama glass roof and a dual-zone electronic climate control system. Key driver assistance systems and versatility solutions include:
Park and Go Packs including:
Advanced park assist – which not only detects suitable parking spaces but also expertly steers into them for you. All you have to do is to drive forward or reverse and brake. The system works with both parallel and bay parking.
Side blind spot alert - helps prevent potential collisions with other vehicles ‘hidden’ in the vehicle’s side blind spots. If a vehicle enters one of the blind spots a warning light illuminates in the relevant door mirror.
Rear-view camera - gives a clear view of the area behind your car and helps place the car perfectly, without needing to strain your neck.
Park and Go Pack Plus features a 180° panoramic rear camera - which detects traffic coming from the side, helping you reverse out of perpendicular parking spaces more safely.
Safety Pack (available as of MY18) including:
Forward Collison Alert – which calculates the distance of vehicles and pedestrians ahead and warns the driver in case of a possible collision.
Automatic Emergency Braking - uses the front camera to detect vehicles and pedestrians and slows down or brakes the vehicle if a collision is imminent.
Speed Sign Recognition - uses the front camera or navigation system to detect speed signs and displays them onto the DIC and Head-up Display.
Driver Drowsiness System - detects the driver’s state by monitoring their driving behaviour issuing 3 tiers of warning alerts.
Keyless Open and Start - Simply get in and start the engine without having to find the keys.
Heated windscreen - The heated windscreen improves comfort during the winter season. Improves visibility and therefore safety. Avoids the windscreen fogging-up.
