Fiat 500 goes turbo

Fiat has brought a new attitude to its perennially popular 500 model, making it edgier than ever before.

The Turbo version is a faster, more powerful realisation of the 500, which is courtesy of its 1.4-litre engine, capable of 135bhp and 150lb-ft of torque.

It certainly sounds every bit like a sports car, and indeed, as it hits the motorway, you will be able to feel a little bit more of a kick.

This new, pugnacious attitude is also captured in its exquisite design, which sees it acquire low front fenders and a spoiler that really transforms this vehicle into something else.

With blacked out headlights and black bezels, the look is complete, and it truly is an arresting aesthetic, triumphant even.

Inside, the interior is complemented by a state of the art entertainment system, the kind that makes this a space you are more than happy to be sat in for a long journey.

Some might even call it a game changer, seeing as, for example, it comes equipped with a Beats by Dre 38-watt audio system.
