Mazda’s most spacious SUV yet offers a range of powertrains and the latest driver technology.

  • The new Mazda CX-80 has been announced and offers room for up to seven passengers.
  • It’s available with a diesel or plug-in hybrid powertrain.
  • A wealth of onboard technology helps to make every drive effortless.

Mazda has announced details of the latest addition to its line-up – the all-new CX-80. The seven-seater SUV is the most spacious car yet from the Japanese manufacturer.

Read on to learn more about the new model.

Distinctive exterior

Mazda are renowned for designing elegant vehicles, regularly taking inspiration from Japanese culture. The all-new Mazda CX-80 delivers exactly that with a distinctive design.

The bold front grille instantly stands out at the front of the vehicle, with Mazda’s five-point signature wing and sweeping LED headlights.

Depending on the grade level you choose, there are a range of alloy wheels on offer to help you stand out on the road.

Throughout the body, sleek chrome accents around window mouldings accentuate the car’s sculpted design.

While the exterior may be refined, the all-new CX-80 also has a bold presence with its long frame and rear-wheel design.

Customistable interior

The spacious interior has room for up to seven passengers, with three comfortable rows of supportive seats.

The third row of seats can be folded down if not in use, still providing space for up to five passengers and luggage. If you need even more space, you can also fold down the second row of seats and create up to 1,971 litres of space in addition to underfloor storage.

If you choose the Homura or Homura Plus grade, an optional six-seater configuration is available. This is a great choice for families with small children as it includes a central walkthrough to the third row of seats.

Three-zone climate control also allows you to set the temperature in each row so all passengers can relax in optimum conditions.

Up front, the cabin is focused on the needs of the driver. A large 12.3” touchscreen features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for wireless smartphone integration. You can also make use of Amazon Alexa voice recognition to control various vehicle functions.

To help you enjoy every journey with the perfect soundtrack, there’s a BOSE premium sound system. This includes 12 high-tech speakers and a subwoofer. You can also soak up the scenery with a large panoramic sunroof.

The latest driver technology

The all-new Mazda CX-80 offers the latest driver technology to make every journey run smoothly.

The Mazda Driver Personalisation System is great for multiple drivers. This remembers settings including seating position so there’s no need to worry about regularly having to adjust the driver's seat.

There’s also a range of smart features including:

  • A 360-degree monitor with See Through View
  • Smart Brake Support Rear & Rear Crossing
  • Emergency Lane-Keeping System
  • Blind Spot Monitoring and Vehicle Exit Warning
  • Driver Monitoring System

It also has an impressive towing capacity of up to 2,500kg, making a great choice if you regularly hit the open roads for adventures. You can also choose an optional semi-electric towbar for even more convenience.

A range of powertrains

Depending on your needs and preferences, the all-new Mazda CX-80 offers two efficient powertrain options. Choose from a 3.3-litre diesel engine or a plug-in hybrid.

The plug-in hybrid powertrain allows you to drive using pure EV power for up to 37 miles (WLTP) and offers fast charging.

While the six-cylinder diesel engine uses the Mazda M Hybrid system to lower C02 and NOx emissions.
