Updated PEUGEOT 3008 and 5008 Models Revealed

PEUGEOT has announced updates to its popular 3008 and 5008 models as they both celebrate five years since they were launched.

As well as proving customer favourites, both models have accumulated a series of awards since coming to market.

These include ‘European Car of the Year’ 2017 for the 3008 and the 5008 was named ‘best Large SUV 2020’ by What Car?

Both the new PEUGEOT 3008 and 5008 have undergone styling updates, including the introduction of the gloss black door mirrors on Active Premium, Allure and Allure Premium trim levels.

The interior features a new, premium ‘Belomka’ cloth with a half ‘Mistral’ leather effect trim complemented by ‘Akinite’ Copper stitching and now comes as standard on the GT trim level.

Both models include PEUGEOT’s next generation digital i-Cockpit technology with a 12.3-inch digital head-up instrument panel, a compact steering wheel and a 10-inch-high definition capacitive colour touchscreen with Connected 3D Navigation.

Available with two advanced plug-in hybrid options, the new 3008 is offered in HYBRID 225 with two-wheel drive and HYBRID4 300 with enhanced performance and four-wheel drive, capable of driving up to 39 miles in zero emissions Electric Vehicle mode.

Customers also have the option of efficient petrol and diesel engines, including the option of an 8-speed Automatic transmission.

Featuring a class-leading modular interior with seven individual seats, the new 5008 allows for the third row to be folded away when not required.

The second and third row seats can be folded to maximise load carrying capacity and offer a generous 2150 litres of space behind the front seats.

Both updated models are equipped with the latest driving aids and safety features to protect their occupants and other drivers.

Technologies include PEUGEOT’s Night Vision technology, which allows drivers to view pedestrians and animals on the 12.3-inch digital instrument panel up to 200m, beyond the scope of the headlights.

Safety features include Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go and Lane Positioning Assist to further enhance both safety and driving pleasure.
