Focus and Mondeo praised by industry publication

Mondeo is 'superbly nimble', says editor.
The new Ford Focus and Mondeo ranges have been welcomed with open arms by key industry figures.
Diesel Car magazine has named the Focus the best medium-sized diesel car on the market after testing both the 1.6 and 2.0-litre versions.
Meanwhile, the publication's annual awards also named the Ford Mondeo as a strong contender, praising its low 114g/km CO2 emissions and efficient 65.5mph economy.
The magazine recognised its practical Auto Start-Stop feature, which comes as standard on both five-door and estate versions.
Diesel Car editor Ian Robertson said the Ford Mondeo is "superbly nimble and poised", while also praising its handling, steering and styling.
Jon Wellsman, Ford Britain sales director, said: "To receive independent endorsement of these cars from Diesel Car is recognition of the UK-based Ford engineers and manufacturing specialists producing these engines."
Last week (May 6th), Ford announced a 13.4 per cent UK market share for April, up from 12.9 per cent in April 2010.
