The Ford Fiesta has further cemented its position as the UK's best-selling car, according to new figures.
Data recently-released by the Blue Oval has shown that the Fiesta was not only the best-selling car of October but for the whole year so far.
Furthermore, with an impressive range including the Focus, Mondeo and S-max, Ford outsold all of its UK rivals last month and for the year to date.
Mark Ovenden, Ford of Britain managing director, welcomed the news and said the figures highlight the strength in depth of Ford's current range especially the popularity of some of its newer models.
"Ford comfortably beat the positive trend in the UK car market in October, which is a great credit to our strong dealer network," he commented.
"Against intense competition our best-ever vehicle range is helping to strengthen Ford's continued UK market leadership. Particularly pleasing is the success of our most recently launched models such as Focus and C-MAX."
