Meet the Two New Renault Cars Launching in 2024

Renault has released details of the All New Scenic 100% Electric and All New Rafale E-Tech Hybrid.

Renault is set to boost its E-Tech offering in 2024 with the addition of two new models. The All New Scenic 100% Electric and All New Rafale E-Tech Hybrid join the Austral, Captur, Clio, and Arkana.

The All New Renault Scenic is a 100% electric version of Renault’s hugely popular model. While the All New Renault Rafale is a brand-new top-of-the-range coupe SUV.

All New Renault Rafale E-Tech Hybrid

The All New Rafale is set to usher in a new design era after French car designer, Gilles Vidal, was appointed Renault Head of Design in 2020.

Rafale is a French word that translates to gust or wind and is also a reference to the Caudron-Renault Rafale plane. The aircraft is a big part of Renault’s legacy and shares all the same traits as their new vehicle.

The exterior of the Renault Rafale resembles the streamlined design of an aircraft’s main body.

With a dynamic, sporty exterior, the model includes a new lighting signature, and a grille emblazoned with the Renault logo.

The E-Tech hybrid model offers a whopping range of up to 683 miles (WLTP). Two powertrains are available – an E-Tech full hybrid with 200hp and an E-Tech 4x4 delivering 300hp. With the E-Tech full hybrid, you can drive using electric power for 80% of the time.

You can also drive up to 130km/h without the need to charge.

Inside the cabin, you can comfortably enjoy the ride with sports seats and a solarbay panoramic sunroof. Passengers in the back can also enjoy class-leading rear legroom.

Other features include:

  • openR screen with 50 apps and heads-up display
  • Harman Kardon sound system
  • Up to 32 advanced driver assistance systems as part of Renault’s human first program

All New Renault Scenic

Renault has changed everything but the name with the All New Scenic. The new Renault Scenic electric has a reputation for being an affordable family car and it’s now been redesigned as a 100% electric SUV.

The pure electric family car features a new distinctive design with a streamlined front end and 20” alloy wheels. Flush mounted door handles also blend seamlessly into the sleek exterior.

Enjoy up to 370 miles of range (WLTP) from the E-Tech 100% electric motor. Offering 220 hp, the responsive electric motor features an ultra thin battery.

Optimise your route based on your nearest charging point and battery charge level with Google. The All New Scenic also preserves your driving range with a heat pump.

Rear passengers can enjoy the spacious interior with 27.8cm of knee room and 88.4cm of headroom.

They can also stay connected on the go with the smart rear armrest. The arm rest features wireless mobile phone charging and two USB-C ports.

Renault’s human first safety program offers over 30 driver assistance features. These include a 360-degree 3D camera, adaptive cruise control, and safety coach. Safety coach uses surrounding data to give you real-time hazard notifications.

Other features include:

  • My Renault app which can pre-heat the cabin and allow you to remotely check your driving range
  • Dashboard with 774cm openR display
