Attendees at the upcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed will see two world record attempts in Nissan vehicles.
Taking place from July 1st to 3rd, the event will welcome car enthusiasts from all over the UK and beyond.
One of these will be professional stunt driver Terry Grant, who will try to make the Nissan Leaf the fastest car ever to have been driven up the famous Goodwood Hill backwards.
The car's electric powertrain means that theoretically it will be able to reach the same speed in reverse as it can going forwards - 90mph.
Mr Grant will also attempt to make a two-wheeled ascent of Goodwood Hill in a four-wheel drive Nissan Juke.
"I've experienced Goodwood before but never attempted to set a new record," he said.
"To have the chance to grab not only one but two records at the same event will hopefully provide everyone with a very entertaining spectacle."
In other news, Nissan today (June 23rd) announced its full-year financial forecasts for 2011.
