Nissan Micra launches advertising campaign

In order to push the vehicle's 'Go Get It' attitude, the new Nissan Micra is set to see heptathlete and Olympian Katarina Johnson-Thompson as the new ambassador. 

One of the the rising stars from the 2012 Olympic Games in London, Ms Johnson-Thompson will be the new face of the Nissan Micra and will feature in a number of advertisements and idents for the vehicle. 

According to managing director of Nissan GB Jim Wright, the new Micra delivers a "confident performance" and has features which will appeal to a young female demographic. Available in two new colours for the car, the inside will also feature brand new touchscreen technology. 

“Katarina Johnson-Thompson epitomises a ‘Go Get It’ attitude and as a dedicated individual who excels in all seven of her chosen disciplines she was the perfect fit for the new Nissan Micra. She’s ambitious, tenacious and is a positive influence on and off the track. She’s the perfect ambassador for this car,” Mr Wright said.
