With the Tokyo Motor Show rapidly approaching, Suzuki has moved to reveal the unique new concepts it is set to unveil at the event.
Suzuki's theme for the 43rd edition of the event is "Let's Create a Brand New Story", and the newly released images certainly display evidence that Suzuki is looking to the future - both in terms of design and range.
According to the manufacturer, the new concepts will demonstrate cars that are currently in demand from consumers, cars that are expected in the near future and the models that exhibit the road the company is set to embark upon.
Suzuki hopes the new models will create excitement and develop passion among the daily lives of their customers worldwide.
The new models will include a range of technologies and products and look unlike anything you've ever seen before.
Among the main exhibits is the Crosshiker concept, which will make its world premiere in Tokyo at the end of November.
The crossover model features exciting new stylings as well as a new highly-efficient power train, with a body that looks like it has fused the bottom half of a 4x4 and the top of an average family hatchback.
A rather unique hybrid will also be exhibited, in the form of the X-Lander. Set to be the evolution of the old Jimny model, this is a rather more robust example of the long-standing Suzuki compact 4WD.
With more muscular stylings, including chunkier wheels and a curvier body shape, the 1.3-litre engined vehicle is expected to perform in both the city and in other more exciting off-road locations. Drivers will also be able to take the X-Lander for a spin with the top down.
Suzuki has also released two new Hustler models, with a standard and a coupe version set to go on display.
The boxy crossover model delivers an active minicar for people who love the outdoors, with a number of SUV touches and a spacious interior. A coupe version brings the same kind of benefits but in a slightly sportier design variation.
Finally, Suzuki will bring the iV-4 SUV to Japan for the first time, demonstrating the four-wheel-drive model in all its glory.
