Bold new styling for future Suzuki models

A new style from Suzuki

A new style from Suzuki

Suzuki will show a Nissan Juke-rivalling compact SUV at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show , this September. It's called the iV-4 – as a concept name at the moment – and is said to mark a new and highly modern design style for the famously compact, frugal and rugged Japanese brand.

This will be the first public display of the new iV-4 concept – shown here in ghostly, evocative style – and is said to be the best marker yet as to where Suzuki will be taking the look and feel of their ever-popular compact SUVs.

This new SUV is said to have been developed with a theme of “Grab your field”, which is all about the basic ruggedness of a Suzuki SUV; cars that are well-known for their off-road prowess and toughness, as well as keen pricing and fuel-economy-focused nature. Cool for the street, but the real deal off-road, too.

The new model – while shrouded in mystery here – is said to include various design cues from previous Suzuki SUV models, like a clam-shell shaped bonnet and a front radiator grille divided into five sections, but with a very modern twist.
