Alfa Romeo announce upgraded specifications for its MiTo and Giulietta ranges

Alfa Romeo has announced new trim levels to be added to its MiTo and Giulietta ranges.

Both ranges will benefit from a new Collezione specification, whilst the Giulietta will see a new Sprint Speciale version join its ranks.

The luxury MiTo Collezione will add 17-inch bronze alloy wheels, bronze-effect door mirrors and satin-effect headlight and tail light surrounds as standard.

It will be available with Alfa Romeo's 0.9-litre TwinAir Turbo 105hp or 1.4-litre Turbo Petrol 140hp engines the latter boasting the six-speed ALFA TCT twin-clutch transmission and uprated Brembo brakes as standard.

The Collezione Giulietta will boast a signature gloss-black painted roof with matching door mirrors, front and rear parking sensors and 18-inch dark-finish multi-spoke alloy wheels.

It will be available in both petrol and diesel guises, with engine choices including the 1.4 MultiAir Turbo Petrol 170hp with a six-speed manual or six-speed Alfa TCT twin-clutch transmission, the diesel 2.0 JTDM-2 150hp manual and the 2.0 JTDM-2 175hp ALFA TCT.

The interior of the models will feature Collezione cloth and eco-leather upholstery, with brown stitching on the gear knob, handbrake gaiter and steering wheel.

Alfa Romeo has also added the Sprint Speciale to its Giulietta range, which builds on the specification of the Sprint to offer ever more performance-oriented equipment, including sports suspension, 17-inch sports alloy wheels, Brembo brakes, aluminium pedals and Quadrifoglio-style sports seats as standard.

Engine options include the 1.4 TB MultiAir 150hp with a six-speed manual or the six-speed ALFA TCT, the 2.0 JTDM-2 150hp and the 2.0 JTDM-2 175hp ALFA TCT version.
