Bristol Street Motors in Carlisle supports junior football team
Hopeful young football stars have been given a helping hand thanks to Bristol Street Motors Vauxhall and SEAT.
The Parkhouse Road dealership has agreed a one year deal with Unisun Athletic FC Under 7 and 8's enabling the club to purchase brand new kit.
Unisun Athletic FC was formed in 2009 and in February 2011 the club held its first training session for juniors. The team entered in to the Longhorn Youth League in 2012/13 and split in to under 9s and under 8s. Since the start of the 2014/2015 season the junior section has continued to grow and now have teams representing the club at U11, U10, U9, U8 and U7.
Michael Breen, General Manager at Bristol Street Motors Vauxhall and SEAT, said: "We are delighted that we could show our support for young talent in our local area. Unisun Athletic are a well-respected organisation with some fantastic coaches and we are proud to be an official shirt sponsor for both the under 7s and under 8s.
"Sport is very important in bringing a local community together and Bristol Street Motors Vauxhall and SEAT recognises its role in giving something back to the area."
Colin Denovellis, Club Secretary at Unisun Athletic FC, said: "Unisun Athletic FC are extremely grateful for the support shown from Bristol Street Motors and look forward to a great season working together. Without support like this we would be unable to offer good quality coaching to so many local young children."
