Chevrolet goes all-out for Frankfurt

Motoring enthusiasts heading to the International Motor Show in Frankfurt later this month will quickly see how much importance Chevrolet places on the event.

The firm has announced that it is to use the show as an opportunity to unveil its biggest ever logo at Frankfurt Airport.

In order to mark the occasion, the manufacturer is to unveil a 600-square metre logo in order to welcome visitors to the event.

"Guests flying into Germany's Frankfurt Airport over the next month should be sure to look out of the window as their plane approaches the tarmac, as the biggest Chevrolet logo in the world is, quite literally, outstanding in its field," the firm commented.

"Visible from the windows of aircraft on approach to the airport, the logo is the size of a large detached house, and is situated in a ploughed field within the airfield grounds."

The stunt was devised to help Chevrolet, which was established in 1911, celebrate its centenary year.
