Citroen C3 Aircross Scoops Two Category Wins at the Auto Express Used Car Awards

Citroen C3 Aircross Scoops Two Category Wins at the Auto Express Used Car Awards

The Citroen C3 Aircross SUV has taken two titles at this year’s Auto Express Used Car Awards. It was named ‘Used Car of the Year’ as well as ‘Best Used Small SUV’.

Plus, the success didn’t stop there for the French manufacturer, with the Citroen Grand C4 Picasso* taking the title in the ‘Best Used MPV’ category too.

The C3 Aircross has previously been recognised at the Auto Express New Car Awards, and has now had its turn at the Used Car Awards.

It took the title of ‘Used Car of the Year’ based on its looks, practical and stylish interior, high levels of technology, comfort, and outstanding value for money. Whilst its range of efficient and reliable petrol and diesel engines helped to ensure success in the ‘Best Used Small SUV’ category.

Steve Fowler, Editor-in-Chief at Auto Express, said: “The Citroen C3 Aircross is one of the best small SUVs you can buy with its focus on comfort and practicality, and with plenty now on the used market it’s a bargain for families looking for an affordable, high-quality and fun car.”

The Grand C4 Picasso was praised for its roomy interior which can seat up to seven adults in comfort, as well as its impressive storage space - making it ideal for families. It was also commended for its range of efficient engines, which helped it take the crown for ‘Best Used MPV’.

Steve Fowler added: "The Citroen Grand C4 Picasso has long been our favourite new MPV, and the attributes that make it great - slick design, fantastic comfort and a practical and flexible interior - still ring true. It represents great value for money as a new car, but is the MPV to beat on the used market."
