The CUPRA Born has been named ‘Small Electric Car of the Year’ at the prestigious What Car? Awards 2022. Having launched in 2021, the CUPRA Born’s entrance to the EV market has certainly been a strong one.

Impressive electric range

The 58kWh battery version provides a decent range of 263 miles from a single charge. It also supports rapid charging, meaning you can boost the battery from 10-80% in just 30 minutes when using a 100kW rapid charger.

Great performance

It’s a nippy car – the 201bhp electric motor can accelerate from 0-62mph in just 7.3 seconds. Plus, there’s also an e-boost option for those wanting some extra power – this adds a further 27bhp.

Fun to drive

The CUPRA Born is an enjoyable drive. It has firm suspension and sharp handling, making it great fun to drive on winding roads, but you'll also feel at ease on longer motorway journeys.
