Dance duo back Fiat Punto Evo with promo video

Fiat has teamed up with dance duo Faithless to promote its Punto Evo model.

The collaboration will see a three-minute promotional video for the group's new single 'Feelin Good' double up as a TV advert for the car.

Set to air for the first time on Channel 4 on August 15th during a Big Brother advert break, the project charts new ground for a car manufacturer and will also involve a 30-second edit of the original video being made available online.

Elena Bernardelli, marketing director at Fiat, said: "No other car brand has co-created a music video where the story has been written with the car and band as equal partners, both as important as each other to the plot."

She added that the video is uplifting and entertaining, featuring two dancers in a night club who are controlled by stylised dolls of the duo attached to a travelling Fiat Punto Evo.

The manufacturer is also releasing a special edition Feelin Good Punto Evo to mark the occasion, featuring 15-inch alloy wheels, a Blue&Me entertainment system and metallic paint.

A recent review of the Fiat Punto Evo 1.4 MultiAir GP in the Scotland Courier labelled the new car "a mixture of the cheeky and the chic".ADNFCR-3205-ID-800022583-ADNFCR
