Fiat Panda 4x4 to make debut at Paris Motor Show

The Fiat Panda 4x4 will be introduced at the Paris Motor Show, with details of the new car making their way through the grapevine.

A successor to a vehicle which first graced car showrooms nationwide almost 30 years ago, the new Panda has everything a driver could desire from a 4x4.

One standard fitting on the car is an Electronic Stability Control system with an Electronic Locking Differential (ELD) function, which will provide a helping hand no matter if the person behind the wheel is driving up a muddy terrain or one etched in snow.

What's more, the ELD function acts by braking the wheels of the new Panda 4x4 anytime they encounter poor grip or slippery conditions.

Everything about the car's dimensions screams a bigger and bolder design too. It is 368 centimetres long and 160 centimetres high, with a wheelbase measuring in at 230 centimetres.

All of this is carried along the road with ease via either an 85 HP 0.9 TwinAir Turbo or a 75 HP 1.3 MultiJet II diesel engine, while Stop&Start technology ticks the box for energy efficiency.

The world premiere of the new Fiat Panda 4x4 will be made at the Paris Motor Show, which kicks off in the French capital on September 27th.
