Hyundai is celebrating after picking up the prestigious Best Large SUV award from weekly car magazine Auto Express.
It's the second time the family car has picked up the award from the title, beating impressive competition in the shape of the Land Rover Discovery and Range Rover Sport.
Steve Fowler, editor-in-chief of Auto Express, said: "The Hyundai Santa Fe is a brilliant way to transport a family. It's comfortable, spacious and efficient, with the cool looks that buyers of these sorts of SUVs demand. It also offers tremendous value compared to less talented, big name rivals."
Tony Whitehorn, President & CEO, Hyundai Motor UK, added: "To receive this award for the second consecutive year is a tremendous achievement.
"The Santa Fe was launched in October 2012 and has struck a chord with customers looking for a large SUV that delivers everything expected from a premium model but in a more affordable package.
"Strong residuals also mean that Santa Fe stacks up well for fleet buyers too"
The Hyundai i10 was also highly commended at the awards.
Steve added: "Hyundai's i10 offers that elusive big car feel in a small car package. In fact, it feels anything but small: it's spacious inside, is fun to drive, packed with hi-tech kit and impressively refined on the move. On top of all that, it's affordable to buy and run."
