Land Rover to debut Freelander Metropolis

Land Rover is to debut its Freelander Metropolis at Royal Windsor Horse Show this month before it goes on general sale this June.

The latest model is a "comprehensive upgrade" to meet the ever-growing demand of this popular car and reinforces the company's commitment to delivering real value for money.

Some of the new features include electrically adjustable seats, a touchscreen sat-nav, a 25W meridian surround sound system, a fantastic panoramic sunroof and 19-inch diamond-turned wheels.

In addition, xenon headlights have been installed – Land Rover's LED daytime running lights come as standard – the steering wheel now has the option of being heated up and there is a "reversing camera" to help drivers park.

Furthermore, the model comes with heated windscreens, front and rear centre armrests and front fog lights.

"The Metropolis benefits from a wealth of sophisticated standard features to increase style, add functionality and make life on board even more comfortable," Land Rover stated.

The design is much more streamlined as well, providing the Freelander with an edgier feel while retaining its punchy aesthetic.
