Lifelong Arsenal Fan surprises Nacho Monreal
A lifelong Arsenal fan had the chance to meet one of his heroes, thanks to the Professional Footballers’ Association and Bristol Street Motors.
Chris Pickett was the lucky winner to visit the Emirates Stadium and present the Arsenal defender, Nacho Monreal, with the PFA Premier League Bristol Street Motors Fans’ Player of the Month award after he gained 37% majority of fan votes.
Chris, who used to watch Arsenal games with his grandad as a child, said: “I chose Monreal because he is a very good player, who is having a really good season.
“I heard about the awards in London and decided to cast my own vote. It has been a fantastic opportunity and I’m very happy to have been involved.”
When award sponsors Bristol Street Motors asked about his motoring history, including his first car, he said: “My first car was a Citroen, my grandad used to drive it and then he passed it on to me. Now, I drive a Range Rover. We’re living in England so why not!”
