Mazda's brand goes is stronger than ever, rising a massive 11 places in the 2014 J.D Power UK Vehicle Ownership Satisfaction Study.

Now ranked ninth overall, it achieved an astonishing 778 points out of a possible 1000, testament to its ever growing renown.

The Mazda2 secured second place in the Small Car category, the evergreen Mazda MX-5 also scored second place in the Sporty category and the Mazda6 finished in third place in the Mid-Size category.

"Everything we do at Mazda, every convention we challenge, is dedicated to making things better for our customers," commented Jeremy Thomson, managing director, of Mazda UK.

"So we are absolutely delighted to have our unique approach appreciated by such a strong performance of satisfaction from those customers themselves."

The massive jump in places is remarkable and bucks the trend – of the 26 brands featured in the survey, it was the only one that demonstrated the biggest improvements compared to last year.

Mazda said that it is committed to boosting customer satisfaction with various developments in the pipeline. The ongoing launch of sixth generation models, powered by SKYACTIV technology, is reflective of this commitment to excellence.ADNFCR-3205-ID-801727888-ADNFCR
