The Mitsubishi Outlander boasts "handsome looks and plenty of kit", one reviewer has stated.
According to Honest John, the seven-seater SUV is a surprise package due to its elegant built and attractive styling, while its array of trim levels balances high specification and cost well.
The writer stated that although the Outlander is better with a PSA 2.2 engine, all versions of the car offer good handling and a smooth ride, while the twin-clutch sports shift transmission might also appeal to many motorists.
A new front skid plate and side sill garnish add a touch of style to the Mitsubishi Outlander, while its six-speed transmission could help drivers save money on fuel.
The model has a four-star Euro NCAP rating for occupant protection and a three-star rating for child protection.
"It's a handsome looking thing, with a front reminiscent of the L200 Triton pick-up and a rear that looks remarkably like a Ford S-MAX," the reviewer added.
The Outlander is available in Equippe, Warrior, Elegance, Diamond and Special Edition trim levels.
