Nissan Qashqai claims five-star Euro NCAP score
As if the Nissan Qashqai wasn't content with the amount of plaudits and accolades it has received since it was first released, the model has now claimed another exceptional award.
It has been given a five-star safety rating from Euro NCAP, thanks to its impressive performance in the organisation's rigorous testing procedure.
The achievement has been made possible thanks to a number of innovative safety features and high-levels of protection throughout.
When it comes to technology, the Qashqai is fitted with Nissan's Safety Shield, which incorporates forward emergency braking, driver attention alert, lane departure warning, high beam assist and traffic sign recognition. All of these are designed to keep a driver alert and to help in the prevention of accidents.
This inclusion also comes with blind spot warning and moving object warning, to minimise the chance of a collision with objects and pedestrians. Nissan's around view monitor technology makes these features possible.
It is now among the top performers when it comes to safety in its class, providing even more reasons why motorists should investigate the Qashqai as an option for their next vehicle.
