Prices held for Donington Historic Festival 2012

Donington Park has announced that advance tickets for the forthcoming Donington Historic Festival are being offered at the same low price as last year.

The move aims to encourage who families "turn up and enjoy the cream of world-class historic motorsport".

With the event taking place between May 5th and 6th 2012, cheaper tickets are now on sale, with those aged under 16 years gaining free admittance.

A number of two-for-one offers are also being run at registered clubs, organisers of the event explained.

Duncan Wiltshire of Historic Promotions Ltd, which organises the annual Festival, explained: "Our aim is two-fold. First and foremost, we want to provide the very best racing, with truly thrilling on-track action featuring historic cars from the most evocative eras of the sport.

"Secondly, we want to do this at a price which club members and motorsport fans can readily afford – and all this at arguably the UK's best spectator circuit."
