SEAT confirms specifications for new Leon X-PERIENCE

Barcelona-based brand SEAT has revealed specifications for the all-new Leon X-PERIENCE, which is available to order from next month (September 1, 2014).

The new lifestyle estate uses the 4Drive all-wheel-drive system with intelligent EDS dynamic control, which accurately distributes weight between all four wheels, increasing traction to improve handling and stability. There's also an extended electronic differential lock (XDS) for better traction while cornering.

There are two trim specifications to choose from: SE and SE Technology. SE features 17-inch twin-spoke alloy wheels, black roof rails, dark tinted rear windows, rear parking sensors, twin exhaust tailpipes, leather steering wheel with orange stitching, plus Hill Hold Control.

Upgrading to SE Technology will get you SEAT Media System Plus with 5.8-inch colour touchscreen, DAB and satellite navigation, bespoke Alcantara upholstery, automatic LED headlights and taillights, electrically folding door mirrors and 18-inch 'X-PERIENCE' machined alloy wheels.

There is also the optional Lux Pack, which includes heated front seats, headlight washers and heated washer nozzles, plus electrically adjustable driver's seat and chrome roof rails.

The engine variant available is a 2.0-litre TDI with either 148bhp or 181bhp (the latter with DSG).

The boot comes in at 587litres, which rises to 1,470 with the rear seats folded at the pull of a single lever.
