Vauxhall wins top prize at Vehicle Security Awards
Commercial van buyers looking for top-of-the-range security have been advised to look into Vauxhall's award-winning selection, which has won yet another award.
At the 2011 British Insurance Vehicle Security Awards, the entire Vauxhall commercial range, including the all-new Movano, fully satisfied the manufacturer award's selection criteria.
The vans were judged against a security ratings criteria developed by the Automobile Association, the Department for Transport, the Home Office and insurance group Thatcham.
Security features on board the Vauxhall range of vans include engine immobilisers, remote control selective locking and deadlocks, the latest alarm systems and full steel bulkheads.
Optional accessories for the range include rear window protection grilles, steering wheel security bars and a one-way visible security film.
Van buyers can choose from a range of five Vauxhall models - the Astravan, the Vivaro, the Corsavan, the Combo and the Movano.
Furthermore, these vans are E-rated, meaning they exceed the Association of British Insurers' security requirements, making for low-cost premiums.
