Bristol Street Motors Durham Ford signs deal with Spennymoor Town FC

Bristol Street Motors Durham Ford is celebrating a new partnership with Spennymoor Town FC.

The dealership will provide support for the club for one season, until May 2019. The club’s main team, Spennymoor Town, is in the National League North, following four promotions in the last six seasons. The club is a keen supporter of grassroots football and currently has 360 boys and girls, aged 7-18, in its football academy.

Spennymoor Town FC will use the financial support to pay for the ground fees and maintenance, taking pressure off the fundraising events that the club organises. As part of the support, Bristol Street Motors Durham Ford will have new Ford vehicles placed outside the stadium during games, and the partnership will be promoted on the club’s social media channels.

Graeme Dickens, general manager at Bristol Street Motors Durham Ford, said: “We want to display our dealership as a community business and want to have an active part to play when it comes to supporting our surrounding areas.

“This is a fantastic local institution and allows us to reach out to a new audience. Spennymoor Town FC does a great job of championing local talent and inspiring potential footballers, and we are very proud to support this.”

Adam Brown, head of PR and media at Spennymoor Town FC added: “We really appreciate the support that Bristol Street Motors Durham Ford has shown us so far and look forward to seeing our relationship grow throughout the next year. Sport is a great way of reaching and engaging with people and Bristol Street Motors recognises this.

“This season we have promotion in our sights and it’s a pleasure to share in that excitement with the Bristol Street Motors Durham Ford team.”
