Bristol Street Motors Vauxhall Newcastle wins national award

Bristol Street Motors Vauxhall Newcastle has been awarded a national accolade for its work in the Motability sector.

The dealership, which can be found on the City West Business Park, Scotswood Road, has won the Regional Quarter 1 Award. The award is given to dealerships that ensure Motability customers receive outstanding customer service.

Launched last year, the regional awards are organised by Motability Operations. The winning dealerships are judged on how well they can deliver the scheme, customer feedback and reviews of their performance.

As a result of winning the Regional Q1 Award, Bristol Street Motors Vauxhall Newcastle has now been entered into the national Motability awards, which are held annually.

Gavin Gray, Motability Sales Executive, said: "The entire Motability team always ensures that our customers receive the best possible service so I am delighted to see our efforts recognised in this way and it is particularly satisfying that customer feedback plays a major part in the awards."

Mark Flynn, General Manager of Bristol Street Motors Vauxhall Newcastle, said: "Everyone at Bristol Street Motors Vauxhall Newcastle is very happy for the Motability team to have won the Regional Q1 Award. This award is a testament to the great work and customer service that the Motability team delivers on a daily basis.

"To now be nominated for a national award as a result of winning the Q1 Award is a great achievement for everyone at the dealership. The Motability team will continue to work hard to give customers the best possible experience."

The Motability scheme enables disabled people to exchange their Higher Rate Motability Component of Disability Living Allowance, their Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (PIP), their War Pensioners Mobility Supplement (WPMS) or their Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP) for a new car, scooter or powered wheelchair. Since it was set up in 1978, Motability has helped more than 3 million people get mobile with a brand new vehicle. Many Vauxhall vehicles are available on Motability with no advance payment.
