If you are driving a vehicle that doesn’t meet Ultra Low Emission Zones (ULEZ) standards, you are expected to pay £12.50 per day in London. With the Townstar EV, you can save up to £3,000 a year by simply avoiding these charges.
Companies can now apply for a grant by the Mayor of London’s scrappage scheme. This allows businesses to scrap their old ICE model for £9,500. This can be used to buy a new Nissan Townstar EV.
You can also apply for a Plug-in Van Grant (PiVG) if you are planning on making the switch to electric. The grant is administered by the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) and offers £2,500 when choosing the Nissan Townstar EV. You can also apply for charging installation grants via the OZEV.
