Citroen announces Top Gear-style prize
Driving fans who have dreamt of carrying out a Top Gear-style review of a new car will be rushing to take part in a new competition being run by Citroen.
The French carmaker is offering five lucky motorists the chance to put the new Ds5 through its paces on the streets of St Tropez.
Winners will be treated to a five-star weekend at the luxury resort and will be among the first members of the public to get behind the wheel of the hotly-anticipated Ds5.
Citroen explained that the chosen few will be able to do their best impression of Jeremy Clarkson, by filming a review of the car and posting the footage on Facebook.
"If you've watched the Top Gear presenters and thought you could do better; if you've always wanted to test drive a new car in an exotic location; if a cold January has you craving a luxury weekend in the South of France, then Citroen has the competition for you," the firm explained.
Those interested in the top prize have until January 31st to apply for entry via Citroen's Facebook page.
