A series of tweaks have been carried out on the Citroen DS5 Hybrid4's management software, in order to make the models cleaner and more efficient.

The French car manufacturer has applied the improvements to all three Hybrid4 200 Airdream EGS6 models.

One of the standout tweaks is that the DSign now offers C02 emissions which weigh in at just 91g/km, while the DStyle and DSport models have seen their emissions figures drop from 107g/km to 102g/km.

All of this has been achieved after Citroen created new software that works to improve the DS5 Hybrid4's brake energy recuperation system. A new battery management set-up has also been applied to the product range.

Another key talking point is that the company car tax of the DStyle and DSport vehicles has decreased from 12 per cent to 11 per cent.

Drivers can get their hands on the keys to the modified Citroen DS5 Hybrid4 right now.
