Citroen DS Divine paraded in new promotional video

First seen in the UK last month at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, Citroen's Divine DS has now been paraded around Hyde Park in London as part of a promotional video released by the French car manufacturer's luxury brand, DS.

Designer Damien Fressard narrates the video, explaining the decisions behind the design of the concept car, which features big wheels and a squat stance.

Inspired by architecture and fashion, the car provides a glimpse of the style that will be seen in the six new DS models to be launched by 2020.

A diamond pattern is seen throughout the car from the unique roof to the modular rear lights representing the brand's 'avant-garde' design philosophy.

Advanced technologies are found in the concept model, such as the DS LED vision headlights and sequential indicators. The high-tech cabin includes a fully digital interface with a holographic head-ups display and a 10.4inch HD touchscreen.

DS was founded in Paris in June 2014 with the intention to re-establish the tradition of premium vehicles in the French automotive industry. Drawing on the very best of French mechanics and design, DS perpetuates the values of innovation and distinction inherited from the original Citroen DS, which was launched in 1955.
