Citroen Grand C4 Picasso named Best MPV at Diesel Car Magazine awards

The new Grand C4 Picasso has been voted the Best MPV in the Diesel Car Magazine Car of the Year Awards.

Citroen's spacious seven-seat MPV was launched at the beginning of 2014 and has already proved popular with families and the motoring press alike.

It has already picked up the Top Gear Family Car of the Year award and What Car? Magazine's MPV of the Year accolade.

Ian Robertson, editor and publisher of Diesel Car Magazine, said: "Ever since Citron first joined the MPV market with its Picasso badged MPV, it's been praised for its spaciousness and outstanding practicality."

He went on to note that the latest Grand C4 Picasso model offers a good amount of space for seven passengers, a high quality cabin and efficient diesel engines to reduce the cost of motoring.

It was not only the new Grand C4 Picasso that was praised at the awards ceremony, as the DS3 was recognised in the Premium Small Car category, the DS5 in the Alternative Fuel Car - Diesel Hybrid group and the C3 Picasso in the Compact MPV class.
