Dacia to release special edition Duster
A special edition Dacia Duster is now available to order in the UK, following “overwhelming” interest at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Dacia created the Black Edition as a one-off for the event, held earlier this month, but has since decided to begin delivery in October.
The Duster has had 4,000 orders since arriving in early 2013 and was recently named best budget tow car at the Tow Car Awards. But the new sportier variant includes extras such as ash leather interior, an upgraded entertainment system and 18” alloy wheels.
UK marketing director for the Romanian manufacturer Phil York said: “The Dacia Duster Black Edition is a mean, more upmarket version of what is already a great selling vehicle.”
He added a challenge for anyone to find as impressive an SUV with “so much kit” for the same value - the special edition costing £17,575 on the road.
