The Ford Mondeo driven by Daniel Craig in his first outing as British super spy James Bond is to feature in a 2012 exhibition at Beaulieu.

Around 50 iconic cars, including various Aston Martins and Jaguars, will feature in the Bond-themed event.

The Ford motor is described by Beaulieu as possibly the "most exclusive Mondeo in the world".

Not the average school-run Mondeo, the vehicle was hand built at Ford of Europe's Design Studio in Cologne.

The £20,000 five-door, range-topping 2.5-litre ST version also boasted a "snazzy" one-off sports body-kit and special Tonic blue paintwork.

Stephen Munn, Beaulieu's commercial director, said: "Following the success of the first Bond cars exhibition staged at Beaulieu in 2001, we are delighted to be working with EON again on this new display, bringing together the world's largest collection of Bond vehicles."

A number of other cars, motorbikes and weird and wonderful vehicles featured in the hugely-popular Bind films will also be on display as part of the event, which also marks the 40th anniversary of the National Motor Museum.
