Ford wins two awards from Honest John
Ford has bagged two key awards at an inaugural industry award ceremony.
The Honest John awards saw the Ford C-MAX and Ford Mondeo named Best Large Family Car and Best People Carrier respectively.
According to the website, the cars were chosen based on the searches and inquiries of visitors over the last 12 months, with the site attracting an average of 1.4 million hits per month during the period.
Nigel Sharp, Ford of Britain managing director, welcomed the "terrific wins".
"The new C-MAX is a great addition to our medium-sized vehicle line up, offering stylish and spacious practicality alongside the family-friendly seven-seat Grand C-MAX," Mr Sharp said.
He added that the new Ford Mondeo offers comfort, refinement and high performance.
According to Honest John, the Mondeo is a "superb drive" and is well-suited to covering long distances, as well as boasting a luxurious interior, good fuel economy and a large amount of boot space.
