Grimsby's Charles Vernam Wins PFA Bristol Street Motors Fans' Player Award
Charles Vernam has been voted the League Two PFA Bristol Street Motors Fans’ Player of the Month by football fans across the country.
In a vote run by fan engagement experts, Snack Media, the Grimsby Town forward won with 24% of the vote for February, with Oldham duo Jonny Smith and Zak Dearnley taking joint-second place with 21%.
In the fourth of five divisional votes carried out over eleven days via Snack’s digital and social networks and supported by top flight football clubs and press, it was clear that the forward’s strong performances last month – scoring four goals and registering one assist - has resonated not just with Grimsby fans, but with supporters of all teams.
