Hyundai Genesis turns it on again in Detroit

The all-new Hyundai Genesis saw its official launch at the North American International Motor Show in Detroit.

It is a model that has long been present in the US market, but it is primed and ready to make its UK debut midway through 2014.

The 2015 version comes with a new design structure, known as Fluidic Sculpture 2, and has taken on new interior controls that are now simpler to use. Furthermore, the storage area has been increased when compared to previous models.

It comes with a 3.8-litre V6 engine, delivering 311bhp and 293lb ft of torque and an increased wheelbase, measuring an additional 2.9 inches.

Hyundai's luxury model has now been delivered in a right-hand drive version and is sure to be sought-after when it hits the UK market.

The car can also be connected to new advances in technology, with smartphone apps providing integration with the newly launched Google Glass infotainment hardware.
