League 2 PFA Bristol Street Motors Fan's Player of the Month for October
James McKeown has been voted the League Two PFA Bristol Street Motors Fans Player of the Month for October by football fans across the country.
In a vote run by fan engagement experts, Snack Media, the Grimsby stopper won with a 35% of the vote for October, beating Northampton’s Matt Crooks, who finished in second place with 22%.
In the fourth of five divisional votes carried out over seven days via Snack’s digital and social networks and supported by top flight football clubs and press, it was clear that McKeown’s solid performances over the last month – in which he kept five clean sheets in five games - has resonated with supporters up and down the country.
The full list of contenders from the final shortlist polled were as follows:
� James McKeown (Grimsby Town) - 35%
� Matt Crooks (Northampton) – 22%
� Chuks Aneke (MK Dons) – 17%
� Nicky Maynard (Bury) - 10%
� Danny Mayor (Bury) - 9%
� James Norwood (Tranmere Rovers) - 7%
