Bruno Fernandes has been voted the Premier League PFA Bristol Street Motors Fans’ Player of the Month by football fans across the country. In a vote run by fan engagement experts, Snack Media, the United midfielder won with 58% of the vote for February, with Wolves’ Rui Patricio taking second place.
In the first of five divisional votes carried out over eleven days via Snack’s digital and social networks and supported by top flight football clubs and press, it was clear that the Portuguese’s strong performances since his arrival at Old Trafford – scoring once and providing two February assists - has resonated not just with United fans, but with supporters of all teams.
The full list of contenders from the final shortlist polled were as follows:
• Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United) - 58% • Rui Patricio (Wolves) – 19% • Harry Maguire (Manchester United) – 8% • Dwight McNeil (Burnley) – 6% • Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Arsenal) - 4% • Richarlison (Everton) – 4%
