Mazda reveals six new 'sport venture' models

Mazda has set its stall out early for 2014 with the launch of six new 'sport venture' models.

The new lineup comprises two Mazda5 model, a Mazda2 hatchback and three Mazda MX-5 sports cars.

The upgraded Mazda5 Sport Venture models feature a 150ps petrol version and a 115ps diesel variant, which boast a range of new equipment and features.

A new black front grille has been added, as well as heated power-folding door mirrors and black leather seat trim.

Peter Allibon, sales director Mazda UK, said: "Our previous range of ‘Venture' models proved very popular during 2013 so now we are responding to customer feedback by introducing six Sport Venture models for 2014 with enhanced visual appeal and upgraded specifications, including a higher-performing navigation system with a larger, 6.1-inch display screen."

The 1.3-litre Mazda2 Sport Venture model is based on the Tamura and is equipped with 13 new features and items, including front fog lights, rain-sensing front wipers and rear parking sensors.

Mr Allibon explained that the six new models offer even greater value and choice to Mazda customers, as well as bring enhancements to the driving experience through the range of additional features.
