New Citroen E-Berlingo Launched In The UK

Citroen has announced the official launch of the e-Berlingo in the UK.

This new Battery Electric Vehicle represents the latest step in Citroen’s strategy to offer an electrified version of every model by 2025.

The Citroen e-Berlingo features a 50kWh battery offering a range of up to 174 miles, paired with a 100kW electric motor.

Fitted with a 7.4kW on-board electric charger as standard, the new e-Berlingo takes 7.5 hours for a full re-charge.

There is also the option of an 11kW on-board charger, reducing the charging time to 4 hours and 45 minutes with a compatible wallbox.

Alternatively, the battery can charge at speeds of up to 100kW, with an 80% re-charge taking as little as 30 minutes.

The Citroen e-Berlingo has been designed with ease-of-use in mind as it benefits from Citroen’s extensive range of e-services.

This includes e-remote Control, which allows the driver to remotely schedule charging or pre-condition of the car by setting the interior temperature in advance.

You can easily view the vehicle’s state of charge, remaining range, and energy flows by using the Berlingo Electric’s 10-inch digital instrument cluster and 8-inch touchscreen, all whilst on the move.

The new Citroen e-Berlingo Electric is available in two body lengths, ‘M’ variants and ‘XL’ versions. The ‘M’ versions are capable of comfortably seating five, while ‘XL’ versions can carry up to seven people.

Offering exceptional practicality, ‘M’ versions offer boot space ranging from 775-litres to 3,500-litres, while the ‘XL’ model increases available boot space to between 1,050 and 4,000-litres.

Maximising storage capacity, the interior of the new Citroen e-Berlingo features 26 different compartments, which combine to add an extra 167-litres of useable space within the cabin.

Customers are presented with two trim levels: ‘Feel’ (offered in both lengths) and ‘Flair XTR’ (offered exclusively in the ‘M’ length).

Both models come with two sliding side doors and Airbump exterior styling, an 8-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, DAB radio, plus Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

As part of Citroen’s Safety Pack, all models are equipped with a range of safety and driver assistance systems.

The safety and driver assistance systems include Active Lane Keeping Assist, Active Safety Brake, Cruise Control and Speed Limiter, Speed Limit Recognition and Recommendation, and Driver Attention Alert.
