New Vauxhall Adam scores highly on NCAP safety rating

The Vauxhall Adam has only just made it to car dealerships across the country and the Euro NCAP safety test has been quick to publish the vehicle's safety statistics.

According to NCAP's series of rigorous testing procedures, the Adam scored well, achieving four stars out of five overall.

The car scored highly in categories including, Adult Occupant, Child Occupant, Pedestrian and Safety Assist. The NCAP summary revealed that the car scored maximum points for its protection of the passenger dummy.

Described as a car with a million possibilities, the vehicle is available in a number of different models with a range of features. The car has three airbag systems; at the front, in the side and curtain airbags for the back and front seats. Furthermore, the Adam has seat-belt pre-tensioners as standard, which offers protection by controlling body movement in the event of a crash.
